People with disabilities meet barriers of all types while living in this society which limits some activities to only the people who don't have disabilities. Technology is just about the same way because whenever a new technology develops there are many barriers that need to be defeated in order to masterarise the technology before it gets to the  public. Technology  malfunction and disability are very similar as we have read through-out this semester we saw how Disability shouldn't hold a person back from anything in life with the right support and treatment most disabilities could be happy with. In the text I read Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men for instance we saw how if disability isn't threated it could turn out very crucial. I also read the article by Johnson's "Unspeakable conversations" we see how Johnson doesn't let nobody bring her down with her goals in life not letting the fact she was disable stop her from achieving her goals and being happy as she was.

Many of the new technologies have a hard time fixing malfunctions before they get perfected. The same way technology needs to get tested to determined what was  exactly going on with people with a disability until the solution to keep people with disability happy and not feeling left out of everything. As I read in the short story by Issac Asimov "iRobot" where robots were created to be sent out to the moon and explore where humans couldn't go. These robots were built to perfection and afterwards still found many malfunctions which had to be worked around. In the film
inspired by this short story "iRobot" we see how everyone gets so impressed about robots being able to do so much human like task and it turns out these robots turn out to try to take over the planet and eliminate humans. In this film we see how  Will Smith notices the Malfunctions of the Robots but gets ignored and turns out that by the time something had to be done it was late and the robots had to be terminated.

In the text by Steinback we see the same concept as in iRobot but in the text we see how Lenny who is an character in the text who has a mental disability in the years late 1930's when the text was originally written. By thinking back to the time in which this was writen we can determine that this type of Disability was not threated or known about back in those days. Lenny forgets stuff and winds up committing actions which he won't do mean to harn anybody but ends up harming people and animals. The only support he had was his close friend who would just help Lenny run away from trouble because he knew no better. Throughout the story thinks he is helping Lenny by just moving places to places. This story ends very sad because Lenny who kills someone without the intention to do so ends up having to get shot because his friend knew no better to get him out of that trouble he had gotten in.

After anylizing both iRobot and Mice of men both of these stories relate because both of these stories have a malfunctions. In "iRobot" we see how the robots have malfunctions and end up killing human's people they aren't handled correctly. In the "Mice of men" we see how Lenny wasn't handled as he problily would now and ends up geting rid off same as the Robots.

Now in the story by Johnson "Unspeakable Conversations" we see how she deals with her disability and doesn't let that stop because she had a disability. In the text "iRobot" by Issac Asimov the malfunction of the robots have not stopped the entire creation of Robots. Although robots malfunctioned in their first attempt NASA is still using robots to send them out of space and worked on making these robots continue to develop. In the text by Johnson we see how she goes to all these events to speak out for people with disability and is very hard for her at times to get to the events and still doesn't give up. Technology is the same way because an program or a project malfunction doesn't mean that the developers will give up on it.

In conclusion to the research done for this project I believe that with enough effort and work everything is possible. It could be from helping another person overpower their disability to programming robots. Malfunctioning doesn't mean it has to be left alone it just means it needs to be worked on. There are some reference videos of stories I couldn't relate to this paper such as Frankeinstein Video clip and newer Robots created to support the outsourcing of research for this project.
